Sealing sheet edges announcements

 Another important installing issue is sealing the sheet at both ends, if there are moisture, dust, insects, or other substances in the pc hollow sheet, that will affect pc hollow sheet’s transparency, thermal insulation and aesthetics, so open to sealing materials should meet the following requirements:

(1)  Sheet sealing should not be water, air and dust.

(2)  Viscous sealing material, such as sealants should be no damage to the hollow sheet.

(3)  Sticky substance in hot and cold temperature mutation and high temperature environment still can its keep long-term adhesion properties.

(4)  Due to the shape changes in construction, it needs cutting and drilling, like hollow sheet, can be cut with a sharp blade, such as wallpaper knife; usual twist drill a hole, but it can be opened with an usual twist small holes should be opened first, and then further be expanded to the required diameter, Holes should not be less than 40mm away from the edges of the sheet, all drilling diameter should be larger than the diameter of the bolt so as to adapt to the thermal expansion and contraction of the sheet.

(5)  Sealing tape has good weather resistance, and maintain their stickiness and mechanical strength for a long time.

(6)  Manual installation, sealing tape has a good anti-tear properties.
